Out of the front door into the ocean. We stayed there as a group of 8 friends with a couple of non-surfing crew members who where never bored. The hosts are great at letting you be you after they explain how much playground you have to explore. Early morning surf excursions combined with sundown walks make for wholesome everyday fun. The ocean is your playground. The surf is great and the morning bakes are what I will go back for
I was there with 10 mates all turning 50 last year and all keen surfers, looking for something alternative to your average boat trip. We found it at Bilou, from the spacious well appointed villas to the very well stocked pantry to the tinny to get to the breaks ourselves - we were stoked! Chantal and Gideon are the perfect hosts who offer freshly bakes bread in the mornings and excellent coffee, what else do you need? Seriously could not recommend Bilou more, for individuals or families alike.

Bilou was such an incredible experience. I have been in the ments on a boat trip, then in a luxury villa but the stay at Bilou was by far the most exciting and comfortable. The fact that you have your own boat each day can self-cater or eat with the other guests in the most relaxed dining area was enjoyable. The villas are super comfortable and well equipped. The snorkelling, fishing and of course the waves are world class. But the best part of the stay is meeting and hanging with the incredible family that run the place, the Malherbes are incredibly attentive and eager to please.
