You will stay at Base Surf Lodge in a double, twin, or single room. It has built a strong reputation for quality, comfort, affordability and, above all, fantastic vibes in a unique, chilled-out atmosphere. Generally, the lodge boasts comfortable dorm-style accommodation in rooms of 2, 4, 5, or 6 with crisp cotton linen supplied.

Most rooms have panoramic views of Fistral or Newquay Bay beaches. Base Surf Lodge offers a cool, med-style basement lounge, free hot drinks, secure surfboard storage, a sun-trap, and barbecue patio set in tropical palms.

At Base Surf Lodge, your accommodation will also be facilitated with power showers, tea and coffee, fresh linen, board and wetsuit storage, and chill out sofa area.

This course is suitable for any ability of level, from complete beginner right up to advanced surfers. The small groups, maximum 8 people per week, mean that the amazing coaches will be able to ensure everyone benefits from the expert tuition. The lessons include surf theory sessions, including wave prediction, surf-trips, lifestyle, surf history, and beach and ocean safety. Rest assured that whether you’re surfing, jumping, climbing, or stand up paddle boarding, you’ll be getting the best coaching around.

Also, protect your hearing whilst surfing because sea water and wind lead to evaporation which can reduce the skin temperature below air temperature. The bone’s rather strange reaction is to grow small bony lumps around the outermost part of the ear canal.
