During this holiday, you will stay in a beautiful, private, guesthouse. It is located right in front of a world class wave named Ebay. The guesthouse is a traditional Mentawaian house of 170 square meters built by local handicraftsman.
The house has four bathrooms, three with hot water and one with cold water, all of them to be shared among a maximum of 12 guests.
Program
Guests should be in Padang on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday in order to catch the early morning Ferry heading to Siberut. An overnight stay is required in Padang and is not included on the package. Making your holiday a total of 11 days. For those arriving on a Friday with Saturday ferry transfer to Siberut, please allot 12 days in total as you would need to stay an extra night in Siberut to catch the ferry on tuesday. Shorter or even longer days are also welcome.
Given that the ferry departs from Padang only three times per week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 7 a.m. arriving to destination at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Saturday (one stop in the north of Sibertu) and at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday (direct journey to South Siberut), it is mandatory that the guests must get to Padang the day before catching the ferry and given that it comes back from Siberut to Padang on the same days. On Tuesday and Saturday, it departs from Siberut at 3 p.m. and it will get to Padang at 6 / 6:30 p.m. (direct journey). On Thursday, it departs from Siberut at 12:30 p.m. and it will get to Padang at 6 / 6:30 p.m. (one stop at north Siberut), it is strictly suggested to sleep one more night in Padang or, at least, choose the latest flight of the night.
The 10 day program will start upon your arrival in Siberut. Every day of your surfing holiday, typically, the activities will start in the morning around 06:30 a.m. to enjoy a delicious breakfast. After that, you will surf in the famous Ebay wave which is approximately 100 meters from your breakfast table. After a morning surf, you will return to the camp for lunch.
You can take some time to chill before jumping back on the boat and head back out for an afternoon surf. You will stay out until dusk.
Once you are back at the camp, feel free to have a cool shower and relax after a hard day. Dinner will then be served and evenings will be spent socializing and organizing the next day’s activities or resting. For those who don’t surf, there are some beautiful trails that cross the islands. Beng Bengs Surf Camp provides fishing equipment (rods and guns) and snorkeling gear for those who fancy checking out the reef.
Sample itinerary
First day
Arrival and sleep to Padang: transfer from airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the harbor are included both ways (on arrival and on departure), hotel in Padang it is an extra cost for the guests. Once you arrive to Siberut, a boat will be there waiting for you and you will get on it arriving to the camp at about 4 p.m. on Tuesday and Saturday and at 1 p.m. on Thursday
There will be one stop in north Siberut, lunch, and then a surfing session, longer or shorter depending on what time you will get to the camp.
Every day schedule
Breakfast at 7 a.m., check surfing conditions and go to surf, come back for lunch, resting and surfing again in the afternoon.
Last day
Breakfast and departure from the camp at 8 / 8:30 a.m. on Thursday (ferry will be leaving from Siberut at 12:30 p.m.) or departure at 10 / 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday and Saturday (ferry will be leaving at 2:30 p.m.).
You have to leave quite earlier because the crossing from the camp to the harbor in Siberut takes about two hours and it better to have enough gap time ahead in case something happens on the way (like a broken engine for example) due to an unexpected situation, especially when it will be windy, stormy and if there will be also swell the conditions can be pretty adverse.

Massimo is the main surf guide of the camp. He has a nine-year experience of Mentawai and he knows very well all the waves and with what tide, swell, and wind they must be surfed. Born Italian, he lived 29 year in Tenerife, Canary Island, Spain, where he developed his love for surfing and his experience with big waves as well.
Location
Your surf camp will be located at Beng Bengs Surf Camp on Masokut Island (also known as Nyang Nyang Island), Mentawai Islands. Beng Bengs Surf Camp is situated on the west side of the island. It’s a sunny tropical paradise, immersed in the Indian Ocean where you can rest your body and your mind relaxing on a sun bed on the beach, looking at the deep blue ocean that surrounds you. This island has five famous and different surf breaks: Beng Bengs, Ebay, Pitstop, Bankvaults, and Nipussi.

If the guests want to come in any different date, it is possible only by PRIVATE SPEEDBOAT, which can departs at any time the guests want, except at night time, the prices are the following:
- Slower one: (PRIZE 2023) it runs with 3 engines of 40HP, it needs of about 5/6 hours to reach the destination and its cost is of 38,000,000 IDR (around 2304 USD) for a round trip (the cost is to share among all the people of the group) maximum 5-6 people.
- Faster one: (PRIZE 2023) it runs with 3 engines of 200HP, it needs of about 3 hours to reach the destination and its cost is of 72,000,000 IDR (around 4480 USD) for a round trip(the cost is to share among all the people of the group), it fits up to 15 people.
