This retreat will give you the opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what’s most important to you. With daily yoga and surf lessons, this is the perfect opportunity to improve your skills. The teachers are there to guide you to take deep breaths, question your online habits, develop mindful tech behavior, and remember to look up.

To give your mind a break from being constantly online, recharge is a must. Don’t expect big groups or impersonal teachers or schedule. The teachers will create inspiration group circles where they encourage each other to listen to yourself and share stories and energy. Villa

Surrounded by fellow travelers, yogis, and open-minded people you will feel right at home. The location is perfect in a small authentic village in Canggu. There is arranged free transportation to several hotspots in the neighborhood throughout the day (don’t need to worry about riding a motorbike). You are free to rent a bicycle and explore by yourself. You will find comfy hangouts around the garden, house, and kitchen. The rooms are big and fully furnished, so you will have your rest and privacy. Be Kind Retreats Bali are most happy with environmentally thinking persons, who treat the villa with love and share their positive energy.

All rooms have been designed to offer you maximum rest and privacy. There are two shared rooms and one private room. The interior is personal and unique which will make you feel right at home. All rooms come with en-suite bathroom, hot shower, air-conditioning, towels, fresh linen, and toiletries.

Be Kind Retreats

Be Kind is a small, personalized, and unique retreat with space for four guests. It is important for them to guide you as much as possible during your juice and digital detox. Expect loving to Be Kind staff and teachers who will share their energy with you and help you to find the right path in life. They have different teachers who are all unique in their own teaching. You will have the opportunity to learn a lot about your tech use and your spiritual site. The aim is to motivate you to really look inside and work on yourself during the retreat. Of course, you will always be there to guide or support you.

Not 100% sure about a digital detox? Did you know the most creative, successful, and happiest people do a digital detox every now and then? Why? Because there are so many amazing outcomes of a digital detox:

Be Kind Retreats created a workbook with several mindfulness exercises about digital use for each day of the retreat to help you find out why and how you want to change your digital use. Don’t worry, this will not influence your normal life. There are alarms in the villa, clocks, an old school Nokia for emergencies, flashlights, and many many books. They will also host a group circle about the internet and social media awareness. There is a reason to get bored without your phone :).

Yoga

During this retreat, you will go deeper into your personal yoga practice and the yoga philosophy. Yoga is not about doing, it is about being. In the yoga shala of the villa, you will have two yoga classes a day. The morning class is perfect to start your day healthy and mindful. The other class will be in the afternoon, a perfect time to reflect on your day and reconnect with yourself. You will practice yoga in a small group where you will feel safe and in perfect balance.

Be Kind Retreat will introduce you to different yoga styles. This is a great opportunity to learn more about each yoga style and to find out which you most connect with. They offer Hatha, Yin, Kundalini, Restorative, guided meditation, yoga Nidra, and Vinyasa. The teachers will ask you at the beginning of each lesson how you feel to make sure every lesson is suited to your energy level.

To get the best surf experience, we believe in lessons that fit your personal needs and wishes. We will make sure you get your customized attention. Our surf teachers have years of teaching experience and have all the important local surf knowledge to provide the best surf course in Bali. All the teachers grew up around the ocean and know all the waves of Bali by heart. Beginner or advanced, you will catch many waves and learn a lot about surfing.

Worried about sore arms and muscles after all the paddling? Don't worry, you will get a daily massage to help your muscles recover and to relax your mind and body.

The surf schedule might change depending on the tides and wave conditions. Their aim is to give you the best time possible in the water so you will have the surf lesson whenever the conditions are best.

All scheduled activities are optional, you don’t need to participle in anything you don’t want. It is perfectly fine to stay at the villa all day.

Loes Knevel
Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (yoga). Loes loves to share her energy to guide persons on their journey with coaching, meditation, and yoga. Her aim is to find more connection with yourself by looking inside. She guides people to create more self-love and compassion for others. Loes is a certified 200-hour yoga and meditation teacher registered with the Yoga Alliance and has a professional background in social work and coaching. Based in Canggu, Bali, Loes is coaching and teaching on a regular base.
Vanessa
Vanessa is passionate to guide people on their journey in life with yoga, meditation, coaching, and Reiki. Her philosophy is to listen to your body and trust yourself. She believes in the inner power, that is to develop more love and compassion for yourself and others. Vanessa is a certified 200-hour yoga and meditation teacher registered with the Yoga Alliance and has a professional background in energy work and coaching. Based in Canggu, Bali, Vanessa is coaching and teaching on a regular base.

Location

This retreat takes place in Canggu, Bali. The villa is located in a quiet, cozy village, and nestled between the beautiful rice fields of Canggu. Canggu is a uniquely mixed paradise that many travelers dream of, a Balinese paradise that has the best of both worlds. They are not in the busy hustle of Canggu, but with transport only around seven minutes away from all the hotspots. Don’t worry, they offer free transport throughout the day.
