During this surf camp, you will enjoy free daily tours which are available all week. Banana Bungalow Maui Hostel especially recommends Tuesday Hana and Saturday Haleakala Volcano tours. You should arrive at least the night before to make sure you can sign-up in time.

Banana Bungalow Maui Hostel does not take advance reservations for the tours. The only way to register for the tour is to sign-up once you have checked-in at the hostel. Banana Bungalow Maui Hostel is located in Wailuku on Maui’s North Shore. This place is near to the best windsurfing, kitesurfing, and surfing locations in Maui. Maui has it all from 42 miles of beaches to terrific coastlines, waterfalls, and a 10,000-foot volcano.
During this surf camp, you can make your own pancake breakfast and coffee every morning. Large shared kitchen and outdoor barbecue grill are also available for you to use.

First, take the Upcountry Islander #40 or the Haiku Islander #35 to Queen Kaahumanu Center for 2 USD. From Queen Kahumanu Center, take either the Wailuku Route #1 or #2. Route #2 takes around 24 minutes and route #1 takes around 35 minutes. The Wailuku Route costs 2 USD. Once you are on the Wailuku Route, you will want to get off at Piihana Terrace. You can tell the bus driver that you are going to Banana Bungalow Maui Hostel and they will know where to let you off. The hostel is across the bridge on the right-hand side, about 20 meters from the bus stop. Please enter through the back after 1 p.m.
