"Brought over 14 people from Canada to spend our week surfing and practicing yoga! The team at Baleal Surf Camp was amazing! Their administration staff was so helpful organizing over trip over from Canada, making sure we were all comfortable in our housing and planning our week! Accomodations are spacious, clean and comfortable. All of the surf instructors were amazing, patient and really engaging with us all. They made sure we all had the best surfing experience weather we were novices or experienced. Love this place, my second year in and coming back for more!"

"I booked the kids (7 and 9 years old) for a 3 day surf camp. The facility is good, the instructors were really friendly and fun, equipment was in good order. The most important factor for me was safety and I had 100% confidence; they were well organized and professional. The kids loved it and learned to surf. I joined in for one lesson too and it was great."

"I had a week between jobs and decided to do something active with my time and decided to learn to surf in Portugal. It was definitely the right decision and I'm sure it won't be my last trip to Baleal to ride their waves. Owen and Jan, our instructors were patient, knowledgeable and genuinely wanted us to improve and develop whilst we were there. They also taught us with a sense of humor so it made the whole experience a lot of fun. The groups are small; we had 5 students to 2 instructors and therefore had the opportunity to learn quicker. Don't look further than this surf school, you won't be disappointed."
