Bagus Surf Camp is a spacious four-story house, sleeping 16 people in total on two floors. There are two rooms that four people can sleep in, two twin rooms and two double rooms. All the rooms are decorated in authentic Moroccan style and the furniture is designed for your comfort. There is a bathroom on each floor, four toilets and showers in total, and free Wi-Fi in the camp.
The downstairs Berber salon offers sofas for you to put your feet up and relax, a projector for movie nights, a library, and games center. Upstairs, there is another chill-out area with sofas and a breakfast kitchen space for guests which leads onto the outside dining area and a communal rooftop terrace, a great place to finish the day watching the stunning African sunset. The small garden downstairs provides another outside space for everyone to relax in.
Downstairs, there is the kitchen where meals are prepared and an office where you can find out anything you need. The whole house has a Moroccan influence and small touches that make you feel even more comfortable. Bagus Surf Camp is located in the village of Tamraght. It offers a peaceful and quiet location close to a variety of yellow-sand beaches and excellent surf spots, both beach breaks and point breaks.
You will be close-by world famous Anchor Point, a great place to surf or to sit and watch others surfers tackling the famous right-hander. The place has a nice view of the mountains and ocean from the rooftop terrace, from where you can enjoy some authentic sights of Morroco.
You will go cliff jumping and swimming in natural pools of Paradise Valley and enjoy the authentic feels of the local markets. A trip to the souk (local market) will be on Wednesday before the surf. Experience how Moroccan people shop for the week and get some tasty fresh spices for your family and friends.
During the surf camp, you will stay in Tamraght overlooking Taghazout Bay, a beautiful village close to the world-renowned town of surf, Taghazout. The cultured Berber village is an interesting mix of surfing chill out vibes and traditional Moroccan life. Taghazout is famous in Morocco for its extensive coastline with beach breaks for beginners to advanced surfers.
You can easily take a cab or bus to Tagazhout where there is a great selection of restaurants, cafes, and shops. Further on, you can go visit Agadir where you can find even more restaurants, shops, souks, supermarkets, and various transport options to other parts of the country.
You will be served three daily buffet style meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You will have plenty of healthy and delicious options, including regular meat, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diet. The food is inspired by different international kitchens with a mix of Moroccan cuisine and local spices.
These dishes will be a variety of different combinations that you have never tried before, trust Bagus Surf Camp, you will never be bored or leave the table unsatisfied. On your arrival, please let Bagus Surf Camp know if you have any dietary requirements and their chef Mourad will accommodate for that.
During your free time, you can explore the village, visit the markets and souk, get a hammam (traditional bath), enjoy the beach, or just relax on the rooftop. Get the Moroccan experience with a hammam and massage at an additional cost. A hammam is an Islamic variant of the Roman bath, steam bath, sauna, or Russian banya, distinguished by a focus on water, as distinct from ambient steam.
The bath starts with relaxation in a room that is heated by a continuous flow of hot, dry air, allowing the bather to perspire freely. After performing a full body wash and scrub, bathers retire to the cooling-room for a period of relaxation, which is followed by a massage. Complete the full experience by enjoying a cup of mint tea before you head back to the camp.
Please book your flight to arrive at Agadir-Al Massira Airport (AGA). Transfer from the airport is included. Bagus Surf Camp will pick you up from the airport. Sometimes, you can find better flight deals to Marrakesh Menara Airport (RAK) or Essaouira-Mogador Airport (ESU). Bagus Surf Camp will help you organize a transfer to the hostel or Agadir, where they can pick you up.
