This place is awesome! I totally loved the stay and the great vibes here. The rooms are large, super clean with comfy beds and the best part; you will fall asleep with the sound of the ocean in the background. The guesthouse offers absolutely everything you need and the location right on the beach couldn't be any better. Guys, it's truly a little paradise, check it out!

And thanks Chino - you're a champ!

#1 on the Ecuador coast. A must stay. I've stayed here multiple times in the past three years and it's become a bit of a second home for me. You can't beat the Surf 50m from your room, the quiet uncrowded beach, exceptionally clean house and refreshing pool. When you stay here you are treated like family, it's one of those places you will tell people that they have to visit.

Ayampe itself is relaxing and friendly, with all the amenities you need to take a break from the busy life. They have delicious restaurants, cafes, a grocery shop, surf shops, yoga, and a couple bars.

The Surf is great just outside your door, or a short walk to the point. Ask around though and you'll find out about some of the many secret breaks in the area that are all within a 15 min drive

This is my favorite place in all of Ecuador!! 3 separate visits so far in different seasons. The hosts are awesome people, friendly, and helpful. The local food is amazing! The scenery is simply absurd - there are two large islands crumbling off the coast in the Pacific. Quartz crystals, and fun looking/colored rocks wash up on shore all the time, of which I've taken a number home. If you come, I suggest coming for a week or longer, turn off your phone and live by the wave!! Come here! The surfing is amazing too! Nice and away from all the tourists - still a secret spot!
