I had a wonderful time on my first yoga retreat. Maria and her family do an excellent job of making everyone feel at home from the very first moment. She stayed up late for me after a flight delay and was pleasant the whole time. I love the intimacy of this retreat as well. It is very humble and small giving you the opportunity to make wonderful connections with the teachers, family, and other retreaters. The town is just a stone's throw away and is very quaint. There is always something to do and no pressure to participate if you aren't feeling up to it.
The only negative I found was that the website and actual experience did not align completely. Before the retreat started being offered in Binnisalem, it was in another town much closer to the water and true hiking. It seems that some of the details from the old retreat location were used as selling points for the new location. That didn't take away from the overall experience but it was different than I expected.

The only thing about this trip I truly enjoyed was the food. Although more variety could have been added, as well as portions (some nights food was undercalculated and people were left without food) the quality was good.
1. The pictures did not match the actual venue.
2. I didnt receive 3 of the highlights listed in the package (hike, mountain walk & hike)
3. The venue accepted my full amount as deposit, but was fully booked. This was non refundable and shouldve been discussed before taking my deposit.
4. The other accommodation I was put into, was unrelated to the retreat and I had to supply my own transport, I was the only person in the other accomodation meaning I felt excluded from the group being a 10 minute drive away.
5. The owner Maria needs help with organisation, communication and honesty.
6. Ayurveda workshop according to body type was only 50% completed, the 'according to body type' part was left out as it would incur an extra cost, not discussed prior.
7. The owner avoided any conversation regarding these issues until brought up by myself or others, and assumed no responsibility, was defensive and blameful towards using a third party website.
8. Classes were so so. Classes are held by volunteers. The owner held a class due to the volunteers quitting (due to the above issues) and during the class, the owner had forgotten the sequence which was noticed by all.
9. Two other people at the retreat actually took a 1.5 hour bus to the wrong venue (the venue advertised in the pictures) only to realise it didnt exist and was told unsympathetically to wait for the next bus to bring them back, which was in 4 hours time.

The area is extremely beautiful with lovely trees and fruits everywhere. The garden is pretty and the house is located outside the city which makes it all more authentic. Bennisalem is very quiet and worth a little walk.
The yoga teacher was excellent as well as all the volunteer staff.
I slept in a single room, next to a common bathroom. There were no window so I could not open the window during the night. A fan would be appreciated. Likewise everyone entering the bathroom could look into my room, since there where no curtains at the door. Therefore there were very little privacy in the room for changing etc.
A bit more cleaning of common areas, such as toilets would be appreciated. I would expect this to be done everyday, but it was not at all.

Where to begin.. Maria and here team offer so much in 17 days... They put all of there love, knowledge and experience in this intense training to ensure that you cross that finish line and to prepare you (as you wish) for the 'real thing'; becoming a yoga teacher. Great surprises throughout the training training, such as a visit of a Monk from Chile and a full-moon meditation. Fabulous organic and comfy food, useful advice in nutrition and providing ayurveda knowledge made everything complete to me. I am grateful!
Nothing big. The day of arrival I received the terms and conditions. Which was a lot to read. I would prefer having read this earlier, while enrolling the program. Maybe a suggestion to share this earlier by email?

Great Food and workshops. Lots of things to do and see. Time in between to relax
Not all the workshops mentioned were available (like aerial yoga) and the massage and personal talk with Maria was not included in the price as mentioned but to be paid extra.

It was my first yoga retreat and I have to say that this one exceeded my expectations. The retreat was in a stunning place with sea and mountains views and the house was really nice too.
The teachers were really good, giving different types of yoga depending on the energy of us, and all the time checking on us to correct posture if needed. I enjoyed every single moment.
I also want to highlight that the food was delicious.
I want to thank all the team for giving me the chance to have a wonderful holidays.

The December 2016 YTT course at Ashram OM, Mallorca was one of the best things I have ever embarked on. After 17 days of intense training I walked out of the ashram a different person. Not only did I learn a lot about meditation, the philosophy and practical sides of Yoga, I grew as a person as well. The food and accommodation were spectacular as was the Yoga studio. Thank you to Victoria for the wonderful food. I met so many wonderful people from all over the world and by the end of the course we had become great friends and one massive happy family. Most of all, our tutors Maria and Tulasi are two of the most special people I have ever met. They are brilliant trainers, supportive, kind and always right behind you. Thank you guys I will never forget you!!! I would recommend this course to anyone who has a sense of adventure and a love and passion for Yoga, wanting to train as a Yoga teacher in a beautiful environment.

Where do I even begin to share my experience and time with Ashram Om Yoga Retreat in Mallorca?! Let's see if I can summarize my 17-day journey....between 4 hours of yoga a day, to adventuring off through the trails that lined the coast, to meditating under the full moon while watching shooting stars fire past us, to running our very first yoga class, to practicing acro/partner yoga on the beach, to devouring homemade vegan meals daily, and to being vulnerable and opening our hopes and dreams up to one another…this experience was truly life changing. My expectations coming into this were completely naive. I assumed I’d come home nailing a handstand and adding hundreds of new asanas to my “toolkit” but what I ended up getting out of this program was SO much more.
We learned the history, philosophy, and foundations behind yoga. We learned about anatomy, cueing, safety, and sequencing. We learned about meditation, all of the amazing health benefits that yoga and meditation could bring, and the holistic approach known as Ayurveda. We made ever-lasting friendships. We conquered so many fears and (quite literally in a small fire by the beach) let them go. But what surprised me the most, was what I learned about myself and how much I grew in just 17 days. I know I have so much more to grow and couldn’t be more excited to see where my continued yoga practice takes me and hopefully, is something that I can teach and share with others one day! I have so much gratitude towards my teachers at Ashram Om and the friends I made along the way - I wouldn't have changed a single thing about this experience and would absolutely recommend it to everyone!
Thanks Maria & team!! :)

The Yoga teacher training with Ashram Om was everything and more I could have asked for. I was looking for someone to teach me and at the same time experiencing the whole picture of Yoga. In the end I can honestly say I felt the training throughout my body, mind and soul, along with a huge inspiration to go out into the world to spread that feeling. I can't be thankful enough for these days.

This retreat exceeded my expectations. I was disconnected from myself before this retreat and through this retreat I learned how to express honestly as me, not to hide behind a dialogue but as a teacher to be aware of myself truthfully and face myself to guide others truthfully encompassing qualities to create an experience for students. This retreat was taught by such genuine people and provided a nurturing hospitality for my growth. This retreat is a way to deepen knowledge of important sequencing and gain the confidence as a teacher to know the body anatomically, mentally, and emotionally. I am at where I am today, knowing that this retreat was a first step towards my life goals.

You have the whole world to choose where do you get your yoga teacher training from, how do you choose? I hope this helps. Taking timeout from work which isn't easy, as I had to let my job go as an HGV driver. (plenty of those jobs around at the moment) Price and quality was also very important to me. It's a very intensive three week course. A lot of studying is done before the course starts. Make the most of that time. I can't stress that enough. I'm pleased to say that I chose the right course, in the right place with the right course tutors. All my fellow yogies were great and I miss them all. Be prepared for long hours, lots of hard work and lots of tears of sadness and joy, singing to the full moon and yoga on the beach. If you have a problem with sleeping, I suggest getting your own room, I was fine but my poor roommate wasn't quite so lucky.

What students can learn when booking the Teacher Training with Ashram Om. First of all they can expect to be welcomed upon arrival with open arms as if they were a long lost family member returning home from a long journey. This was truly the start of my stay and since I had traveled so far and so long to get there, it was very much appreciated. They can expect to stay in a setting like non other. You will never get tired of enjoying the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. They can expect to eat better than they do at home without having to do the cooking and dishes. They can expect to learn a lot about the history of yoga, cuing, asanas, anatomy and Sanskrit. Honestly, I didn’t realize how much I learned until I got home and started implementing my newly gained knowledge in my life and in my classes. Maria and Tulasi have a way of sharing information that mixes curriculum with experience for a comprehensive and supportive learning environment. Lastly, they can expect to make connections and lasting friendships with like minded individuals from all over the globe. I traveled to Ashram Om alone but left with a Yoga Family that includes Maria and Tulasi that I will cherish forever. Namaste!

The 2.5 weeks spent in Mallorca for my 200hr YTT was a life-changing experience that I will never forget. It was mental, physically and spiritually enriching. I am eternally grateful for the whole experience. The hotel is beautiful, the location is perfect. Maria and your team did an amazing job. I love that we learn a more traditional and safe approach to yoga. The course was very intensive, it's definitely not for the weak. I left the YTT with the knowledge, technique and confident I need to teach a class. I was slightly disappointed that we did not spend much time doing yoga outside by the beach, the weather was a little cooler. To make the course even more effective, I would suggest keeping the class size smaller, max 20 students, consider serving enough food for the large group of people. keep the optional workshops at night so those who are too exhausted can choose to skip the night classes. Also set aside private consultation time so that students can ask questions on specific topics.

I was a little wary prior to arrival as I had read a couple of poor reviews, but was completely blown away by the experience! Such a warm genuine welcome by all. The instructors were excellent and very helpful and informative. Each day was jam packed with activities and the organic, freshly home grown vegetarian meals prepared by Maria's lovely mum, were delicious! I cannot imagine why anyone would have left a negative review for this place. I could not have asked for a better experience, from the complimentary Ayurvedic massage, to excellent body alignment, health and facial yoga workshops, on top of yoga on the beach and paddle surfing and trekking. What more could you want? Strongly recommended!
It's a small family run retreat, which made the whole experience a whole lot better. The retreat was personal and I was welcomed from day one. Both Victoria and Maria are the sweetest and during my short time, I've met wonderful people. Well looked after and the food was amazing, healthy and vegan. The location is ideal to escape the city hustle and bustle, which allows the individual to truly escape from everyday life and really relax. Thanks again for the experience, one of the best trips I have had in a long while.

I just came back from the most wonderful, inspiring and uplifting few days at Ashram Om and Yoga Retreat. Thank you for sharing your home, love, happiness and knowledge. I feel the best I have felt in a very long time. The most loving and welcoming family are sharing their most beautiful rustic house. The retreat is in the most perfect location. It's a short walk to the town and the little beach where you can swim and the scenery is just stunning. The yoga classes were some of the best classes I have ever taken. I really excelled in my practice because of the guidance and superb teaching. It has given me a lot more confidence and made me approach everything with a "can -do" attitude feeling like I can take on anything. Maria is so knowledgeable and is one of the most wonderful human beings I have ever met. I feel so privileged to have been in her company. She is a diamond, and diamonds are rare to find! Victoria is incredible. She looks after everyone so well. I could have talked to her all day long. She is so inspiring and has such a wonderful outlook in life, she is such a special soul! Victoria’s food was the best I have ever tasted and I have been cooking her recipes ever since I got back home. It is the most amazing organic vegetarian/vegan food. The food was in abundance and I have never eaten so well. Absolutely delicious I miss it all so much! I also learned so much in all the workshops. In Ayurveda workshop I learned about detox, diet and healing our body. In the cooking classes I leaned how to make some amazing food which I just cannot stop cooking and have also been sharing them with friends and family at home. Loved the facial yoga I will stay young forever (haha)! Going to the beach and paddle boarding was one of my favorite days ever and I loved it so much. I cannot recommend this magical place enough, I will never forget my time here. I found new friends and had some of the best days of my life thank you so so much. I will see you next year. Lots of love!
I had an amazing experience at the yoga retreat in Mallorca! Maria and her mom were great hosts, making sure we were well fed. I enjoyed the healthy meal options, the yoga sessions, the massage, the paddle-boarding session, and the workshop on Ayurveda medicine. Some feedback areas are that I was not able to participate in the cooking session as advertised (because it was on Sat, but I left on Wed) and the yoga mats should be cleaned daily (either by us or them, but someone needs to clean them).
I had a Lovely stay at the yoga retreat. Maria was a warm and welcoming host. The vegan food was great and the yoga teachers were fantastic. I loved the facial yoga with Maria! The bed could have been a bit more comfortable though, it was a bit outdated.. But on the whole a great retreat!
Coming to Maria’s place was a fabulous adventure where a multicultural yogic environment nourishes you every second. The place is calm and quiet, food is always organic and full of love, there is always something new to learn from the daily workshops offered. In a magic way, there is always a nice balance between chilling and being active…it is easy to enjoy and smile at this place. Paddling at the beach was great and staying in such a nice place full of nice and caring people was awesome.
Very good (first) experience for a yoga retreat but not worth the money (590eur, 3nights/4 days).
Sept 2016, ENVIRONMENT: the house and environment is great and this is a family run business which feels great. Shortcut to the beach is now closed so 40min to go there. Pool is just below the road and it’s a water tank (like they often have in Spain) so you can’t lay down around it but it’s good for swimming. The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful, I liked my afternoon naps in the hammock. MANAGEMENT: I never saw Maria, the owner and senior yoga teacher, during my stay (?!) but her mother Victoria was so kind and pretty much doing everything there by herself (again: ?!). No cleaning of the shared bathroom or emptying of the bedroom bin during my 4 day stay. The program is different everyday so feel free to ask for it by email before you book YOGA: I liked my two 1,5h yoga classes a day and the paddle surfing incl. paddle yoga. The 2 yoga teachers were very nice and good enough for MY level of practice but I am not sure why, for this price, you wouldn’t get experienced teachers… There is no more yoga classes by the beach as the restaurant owner do not allow them there in the morning anymore. If you are after a specific class/activity, ask them before if it will held during your stay FOOD: Food was very very good but I missed dairy products and eggs (the place is not advertised vegan but veggie/organic). There was enough food for everyone. There is always a large bowl of homemade olives on the table which were delicious. Local herbs also available for herbal tea. COMFORT: I did not want a luxurious place because this is not my style and it attracts the wrong type of crowd for me. That said, I cannot understand why you wouldn’t get decent bed/mattresses for this price (mine was foam cover with fabric on a wood board.. Ouch!), especially when you practice yoga 3 hours a day and your body definitely needs to recover during the night. Again, for almost 200eur a night, cleaning should be done everyday in shared bathrooms and shared spaces. It is the case in Thailand/Greece when you sleep for 12-20eur a night… Also, do not forget your earplugs! the wooden beds and bathroom doors are SO noisy. OVERALL: I do not regret going to this place because I enjoyed my stay, the yoga classes, had time to relax and rest and it was a first experience of a yoga retreat. I wouldn’t have liked to stay longer as I would have probably got pissed with the bad value for money ratio and too much free time. I would like to thank Victoria, Maria’s mother, for being so kind with me and giving this « home » feeling.
Management response from Ashram Om & Yoga Inbound:
Hi Nathalie, thank you so much for your feedback. We have moved to a new, luxury house, where peace and silence are the key point. The infinity pool (in Estellencs) is with salt water and one can only hear the birds.

This loving, welcoming, family owned finca is in my opinion, wonderful. This retreat is rustic so do not come here expecting 5* luxury as this is not what this place is about. Instead it is bursting with beautiful character, history and charm. Maria and her lovely Mum Victoria have the warmest hearts and made me feel right at home straight away.So much so I did not want to leave! A Beautiful house, stunning scenery, a gorgeous family, and amazing yoga teachers!
The trips to the beach for paddle boarding was a lovely way to break up the week and with a variety of workshops happening there was always something to keep me occupied :)
Highly recommended! Thank you all for dreamy week and helping me to leave feeling refreshed and revitalised xxx
Maria and Toni are a very authentic couple. She´s Bulgarian and he´s a local from Majorca. She´s focused in the ancient art of yoga, spirituality, and health treatments, and he is an expert in all related to nature, taking care of the beautiful surroundings of the old “finca” and growing organic farming all around it. Victoria, Maria´s mother takes care of the organic and delicious vegetarian food we ate. I enjoyed very much my stay there, and withouth doubt, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to go for some peace out from the stressful World, learn how to change non healful habits, or find some answers about him/herself. Excelent couple and expereince!
I spent 20 fantastic days with Maria and her mom Victoria in their beautiful villa in Estellence. Maria is very nice and very educated yogi who always welcome you with love and smile, and her mom is the best cook in the world. I have to say it felt like a magical dream. All the organic food, the calm and their kindness makes this place very special.
I will never forget that they treated me like a part of their family. It was amazing experience learn such a good things from healty cooking, ayurvada, to partner yoga. I am deffinitely reccommend this place who would like to escape from big cities and focus on themselves. It is a good place to start changing your life.
Thank you so much for everything I had the most wonderful time! Thank you for letting into your amazing home. And I really appreciate you taking me to the airport! Stay in touch and hopefully see you again soon! Lots of love holly X
Unfortunately I took the high ground when two guests left after asking for their refund, because I decided although I knew I was leaving, asking at that same time would not be appropriate for Maria. So in doing this, I am now being penalised with no appropriate refund for my remaining 3 night stay, plus subjected to a very condescending judgemental reply. The statement on the website says they promise to take care of you and it’s a place to escape from stress, nether happened for me unfortunately. Below are facts that disappointed me about my stay and spurred me to leave, which I can write in a formal review to be published; Pool – needs to be cleaned and sectioned off so it’s more private to the main road it’s next to. Plus a seating area would be beneficial Rooms – It would be good to be given a choice of hard or soft mattresses, as most seemed to have the extreme (either too hard or too soft) causing sleepless nights. Or getting appropriate mattresses to suit all, in additional 3 night stay on the island in hotels, all mattresses were great to sleep on. Bathrooms – not once during my stay were the bins cleaned and at one point started to overflow which wasn’t nice. I was slightly shocked when one guest who had stayed there for a week asked for a clean towel as the one they’d been using all week had started to smell, their request was not met nicely which was a shame. If there are not enough towels, recommend on the site for guests to bring their own. Food – The food was okay, but there was never much to go around and I only ever took small portions because not much food was made available. On my first night guests were joking that if you came in last you had to lick the bowls out. There should not be a shortage of healthy foods at retreats like this. Beach – The walk is not 20mins as advertised. 25mins down the shortcut route, which you will need directions/ guidance to take. If you asked average nos of guests I think they would take 40 at least to get back up hill. If you try and walk back during the mid-day sun, probably longer. Mountain walk – Our walk was good and the views were great. However coming back down, one of the guests suffered from lower back issues and needed to take her time on decent, at no point did the guide slow down, even after a number of us requesting. The walk back was hurried, the guide Toni was in a rush to get back and did not seem to have the patience to wait. Which was me just ruined the whole point of such a wonderful scenic walk which should have promoted relaxation. Yoga – The main yoga teacher I had was very sweet and kind, I believe she was volunteering there for experience. Normally on these type of retreats I am used to yoga teachers with much more experience. Classes – Guests should be told when booking that the Ayurvedic workshop is to the value of 400€ as part of their booking. So in my case that was around 40% of my total booking cost for 1 workshop which I was not aware of. I also did not stay for the paddle surf class, so unsure what the value of that was in the package either. Wi Fi – Prior to booking I enquired about the wi fi as I’d need to access work emails. I was told this wouldn’t be an issue. However when I arrived I asked for the wi fi details and was told these are only given out for emergency use, because wi fi was needed to run their business. I was given the details but told not to tell anyone and only use in event of an emergency.
I highly recommend the retreat!!! I loved the house, sea views, yoga classes with different teachers, amazing Organic meals, loved to paddle surf at another sandy beach nearby.
Ayurveda workshops were incredible where one learns the secrets to health and rejuvenation. This pause made me look at life as new
I never thought I’d be writing a review like this when I booked the retreat. However, I feel like I owe it to all the future bookers to share my experience so that they can decide for themselves if this is what they want to pay for and participate in. So if you don’t mind anything that follows, then this retreat is for you. But I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
When I arrived, my first impression was - okay... the pool is pretty much right next to the road, not the most quiet and peaceful spot, with exhausts from passing cars, but oh well, nothing is perfect. Then I was greeted and right a way shown my room. Immediately, in the room, I was asked for the money (over 1100 Euros, without providing a receipt), even before I had a chance to settle and unpack. It didn’t feel as a very welcoming gesture and left me feeling uneasy about not getting the receipt. I then tried the bed, it was extremely uncomfortable - made of a wooden frame and metal spring mesh on which a very soft mattress is placed. So when you lie on it, it basically forms into a trough like shape. I weigh 64 kilograms so I’m not exactly your heavy weight champ either. That night I wasn’t able to sleep till 1 am, when I placed the mattress on the floor and finally was able to fall asleep somehow - mind you for over 200 Euros per night.
Afterwards I unpacked, walked downstairs, and talked to a couple of people. I asked them how the retreat has been for them, and in general I received an answer with an awkward undertone of an uncomfortable feeling: ”hmm, it’s been nice...” I felt that something was off… So I just observed. Soon we had dinner, which definitely tasted nice, but there just wasn’t enough food for everyone. And that evening, 3 people didn’t even eat properly because they were going out for dinner. I started to feel uneasy about what was going on in that place but I continued to observe.
Later in the evening, I joined 5 people who went out to celebrate the birthday of one of the guests. During the dinner, after some time, stories started to come out about the retreat. In general, there was a lot of resentment, anger, and a feeling of being cheated on value for the money - people were unhappy with uncomfortable beds (too hard or too soft mattresses, squeaky old beds that squeaked with every move and woke the roommates at night), insufficient amount of food, no meditation classes though it was advertised (unless you call a few minutes at the beginning of a yoga class a meditation), money charged right on arrival without getting a receipt, pool being full of bugs, other guests being unhappy that had already left, to mention just a few.
I eventually said, I was going to ask for my money back the next day, and leave because this was not worth 1270 Euros for 6 nights. And also, after hearing all the (justified) complaints around me, I definitely didn’t want to stay in the atmosphere of resentment and dissatisfaction - that’s not a yoga retreat I envisioned. I asked some of the others why no one actually asked for their money back if they were unhappy - answers varied from being too exhausted from work and not wanting the hassle (after all, they came to a retreat to relax, right?), to not being sure if they could get their money back since they didn’t get a receipt in the first place, neither were there conditions about refund stated anywhere, people were afraid that if they asked and it didn’t work, they’d have to stay at the retreat and feel awkward for the rest of their stay, and/or they didn’t know where else to go for the rest of their stay in Mallorca... you name it, I totally understand. The point is that everyone at the dinner table that night commented on something that they were dissatisfied with and how this was not reflecting the price they paid.
I’m not sure how it is possible that the retreat has so many positive reviews online, if all, except one, guests that I met at the retreat were dissatisfied with what was or wasn’t provided. Later I saw the reviews from Sasha and Abida Dar on the review page of Ashram Om & Yoga Inbound on BookYogaRetreats.com (https://www.bookyogaretreats.com/ashram-om-yoga-inbound/4-days-paddle-meditation-and-yoga-retreat-in-spain,) and also on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/pg/Yoga-Retreat-Ashram-Om-1053953717954510/reviews/) which are much closer to my experience, as well as those that I met there.
The next day, 3 of us discussed the issues that we were not happy with with Maria, the owner of the retreat, who eventually offered a refund, without us even having to ask. Two of us accepted, the 3rd person decided to stay. And yet another person left later that day. I will not discuss the details of an email that one of the 3 of us that left the retreat received from Maria afterwards - in short, however, it was condescending and included untrue statements. It had nothing to do with being spiritual or professional, more with ‘spiritual bypassing’ (look it up, if you haven’t come across this term.). If there’s one thing I do not tolerate, it is unfairness and being taken advantage of, in general but ESPECIALLY in a spiritual setting. And in those moments I speak up because I know my boundaries. So as far as I’m concerned about this place, no thank you, not again.
In points (including some additional ones).
1. Absolutely beautiful natural environment! Sunsets are gorgeous.
2. The food at the retreat tasted really nice.
3. The participants and the volunteer yoga teachers I met there were awesome.
4. The villa is very authentic - an old mill from the 13th or 14th century.
1. Extremely uncomfortable beds (squeaky, too hard, or too soft mattresses)
2. Money is requested on the arrival, right after one enters their room, no receipt is provided, unless you ask for it.
3. The address is not specified on the website, neither did they want to give it to me when I called them and was trying to find them using GPS. I was told by Viktoria, the mother of Maria, the retreat owner, that they don’t give out the address because the owners of the house are not quite happy that there are yoga retreats taking place there… ‘Wonder’ why.
4. Insufficient amount of food
5. Yoga teachers were volunteers - which is fine, since everyone needs to start somehow, or wants to volunteer, but given how much the retreat charges, there should be professional teachers.
6. The spring pool is located right next to a road, with floating bugs on the surface that can be easily cleaned with a net.
7. Cleanliness of the bathrooms could be better - when I arrived, the trash bin was pretty much full, almost overflowing and there were many small, virtually empty shampoo bottles all over. I was told that their cleaning woman is asked not to throw away anything that is not completely empty. I guess 2 mm of liquid left on the bottom is not an empty bottle indeed. However, it looked like some have been there for quite some time. You can always ask the guests to take their toiletries back to the room with them and prevent a mess.
8. Only one towel per person is provided - sure you can ask for more, but for the money you pay, one large and one small towel should be a standard, without having to ask.
Estellencs is such a beautiful place in itself - so far removed from the standard resort holiday in Mallorca. It's so peaceful and the location of the Finca means you can really feel close to nature. María was a wonderful and has a beautiful giving spirit. I'd put myself squarely in the yoga beginner category and she was very patient with me. I thoroughly enjoyed the yoga classes, as well as the paddle boarding in Sant Elm. María also gave a facial yoga session and an introduction to Ayurveda. I can be quite sceptical generally, but she's really inspired me to learn more.
I'd highly recommend the retreat for anyone looking to recharge and truly get away from it all!
The welcoming was very unpleasant, (asking for your cash money the same second you put in the feet in the house, after a long journey). The matras was VERY VERY bad. (so basically the yoga in the morning is to restore of the bad night you just spend.... ) the yoga classes where reached by one unprofessional yoga teacher (who was very nice and gentil, but the course was not professional at all, and I didn't feel in good hands). The swimming pool was very dirty and the food was not enough for the whole group.
The yoga place near the sea side was 20 minutes walk down, and 25 minutes walk up to come back (it says 10 to 15 on their website, so it's not at all close to the sea), and in general, i feel that the price (1108 euro for 6 nights) was completely overrated, for the quality I got. So after 4 nights, i left the place, and Maria did give me back the money of the two other nights). I asked for a receipt though... and on the receipt it doesn't say yoga retreat ... which is not what I expected.
A magical location and a special athmosphere. I personally enjoyed my stay in there, the people, the food, the yoga... I lernt some very interesting things in the workshops too. I was very much inspired during the stay.
I loved the retreat at Ashram Om & Yoga Inbound. The house is beautiful, with an energy that invites you to dive deep inside yourself, relax, and let go. Everything is natural, the food is amazing and super healthy, the natural water pool is perfect to swim in, and the terrace to read in. The yoga classes are varied, allowing you to deeper in your practice. The other activities available are very well organised and imparted. The access to the beach, though, was a little difficult and right in the middle of August, really hot, I would love it if it was a little closer. The best of all, are the people at the retreat: Maria and her family do everything from the heart and everything is felt in the moment. The amazing opportunity of having Ayurveda consultations and massages with Maria, she has a great knowledge, great intuition and a beautiful heart. It was an very good discovery and I would certainly recommend it.
My husband booked a week at the Ashram Om Yoga retreat for my Birthday and I couldn't have wished for a more perfect way to have spent my Birthday. The location was Idyllic in the unspoilt Majorcan countryside. The food cooked by Victoria was absolutely delicious as well as being healthful. Victoria and Maria were the most amazing hosts and my Ayurvedic consultation with Maria left me inspired with small changes I could make to my diet to make myself more healthy and balanced. It is only 2 weeks after the retreat following her advice and I feel so much better. The yoga sessions were brilliant either in the beautiful yoga studio or down by the sea. I particularly enjoyed the hike in the hills and the amazing massages... I can't recommend this place enough if you are looking for a real break.
I had the most brilliant time at this yoga retreat. I learnt so much and the team were second to none, always happy to help and taught me everything from how to make delicious pea houmous to what the Wild Thing yoga move is! I would recommend it to everyone.

Although I just spend 5 days at this charming place, it is hard to summarize it in a few sentences. Then I found this quota by Mahatma Gandhi: „The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” This sentence describes the best how I felt during those days. From the first moment I arrived there, till the last minute I lost myself completely in their overwhelming service. The yoga lessons, the paddle surf trip, the amazing food, the Ayurveda workshop and the Ayurveda consultation helped me to find my inner calm. I will definitely come back to this place! Lovely Greetings Kerstin

I thought the retreat was truly wonderful. A bespoke thirteenth century cottage in a beautiful location with excellent staff. They made me feel so welcome and the yoga was a good mix between challenging and relaxing - mixing it up bewteen each of the classes. The food was also delicious. I would definitely recommend this retreat, it's like no other!

There are so many nice reviews for Ashram Om, I am not sure what I can add. First, the most obvious things: the location and house is magnificent, you feel like you have entered a secret and sacred place that you would never have found if just passing by. The yoga classes and the food are excellent, I was looking forward to every meal like a child on Christmas eve. I was there for a week, and the days floated by in the most relaxing and carefree way. I had a lot of time to read and talk to my fellow retreaters between the scheduled activities. This was the first time on retreat for me, and I wasn't sure what to expect. But I found new friends, lots of love and magical days. I would recommend anyone that wants to get away from the business of everyday life to visit Ashram Om.

I spent only a few short days with Maria, her family and team in Ashram Om and Yoga Inbound. Even in this short time I was able to walk away refreshed and feeling renewed. The retreat centre is in a stunningly quiet farmhouse with just the sounds of nature and the odd meows of the resident cats. This truly does feel like a home away from home. The rooms are rustic and quiet and the morning and evening yoga classes are the perfect antidote to any stress. The yoga classes are strong but balanced really well with a focus on meditation and the surrounds. The food is also incredible - each meal is a treat in healthy and nutritious eating. Between the two classes of yoga, each day also offers activities or workshops. Despite these, the retreat never felt 'busy' or demanding and I couldn't recommend enough the incredible massages and consultation that I was able to benefit from. The most important piece for me was meeting a group of people who are passionate and dedicated to a healthier and more balanced lifestyle. Maria is warm, generous and genuine in her passion for providing a retreat in the truest sense of the word. I walked away detoxed and lighter in a number of ways. Would recommend without hesitation to anyone seeking respite, calm and reconnecting with some joy in their lives. I will definitely be returning.
I've been to this retreat several times and it always feels like 'coming home'.
The hammocks are waiting, the tea is ready and the garden with view always stunning. This weekend there were lots of garden picked oranges to eat.
The yoga teacher was a super friendly and energetic woman who had just done her teacher-training at 'Om' . The quality of the lesson was good. There was a lesson in drawing as well that was optional.
I would recommend this place to people who like to combine yoga with relaxing. No hardcore program with many activities, just a good balance of yoga and vacation.
Ashram Om is a beautiful place in the mountain with a sea side view in Estellencs, Mallorca. I just passed a Yoga Teacher Training for 3 weeks there. It was an amazing experience for the mind and body. I've learned so much, it was not only asana theory & practice but also philosophy, anatomy and many, many others things. It was a really complete program. Maria is a beautiful soul and kind person, giving love and sharing her knowledge. She has chosen people around her as kind and mindful as her.
It was a really intense and challenging training, and I’ve been feeling really much stronger and confident and I’ve really seen progress in my yoga practice. I will never forget this amazing experience. I've met incredible people and I hope to see them again soon.
During these 3 weeks, I've learned a great deal about how to be safe in a yoga position, about the mystical and philosophical part of yoga, and how you can incorporate yoga into your daily life. The location was amazing, ( the house is perfect for the hot summer days, but if it's cold outside is a bit chilly inside, so bringing warm clothes is a good idea), and the food was delicious( although it could be more diverse). The teachers completed each other with their knowledge, personality, and with their different ways of approaching yoga, and they were so eager to share everything they knew, that I think we did more than 200 hours. It was an intense experience, maybe the program was a bit unrealistic because we stayed a lot over the program, but we were there to learn as much as we can. At the end of it, I felt energized and inspired by everything I've learned. Thank you! :)

Thank you so much for a fantastic week in your beautiful finca! I really enjoyed it. The yoga and meditation was marvelous and the food was delicious - send my greetings to Victoria! Unfortunately we did not have a chance to say goodbye. Now I am home again. I will try not to drink coffee (decaff is that ok..) and I will definitely be more vegan.
Thank you again and I hope I will see you again! Send my greetings to everybody
