The local legend says that Jimi Hendrix gave paradise valley its name in the 1960's and it indeed looks like paradise! It’s filled with thousands of palm trees and crystal clear lagoons next to a river with turquoise water, beautiful flowers with river pools, little waterfalls, and awesome rock formations. Whether you choose to walk around the place and enjoy the peace and tranquility or experience a breathtaking cliff jumping experience, Paradise Valley is the place to be! Yes, you read it right! Jumping from the high cliffs above! If you’re action seekers, there are cliffs high enough to suit even the most daring of daredevils and the team knows well the topography of the area and will provide you a safe and fun experience.
An approximation of 6000 shops organized in several departments, in a massive walled enclosure with 12 gates of entry, Souk el Had is Agadir’s biggest market, and the third biggest market in North Africa (after Fez and Cairo). It stocks a vast range of various items for local people and traditionally-produced goods that you may consider to buy (fresh fruits and vegetables, spices, clothes, artisanal goods, etc.). If you want to discover the Moroccan real flavor of and to interact with the local people or buy marvelous little things, Souk el Had is an essential place to visit.
You will be served three delicious meals per day prepared by Aloha Surf Camp Maroc's chef. Think of Moroccan food and deliciously aromatic dishes such as tagine immediately come to mind. Spices have been imported to Morocco for thousands of years and common spices include cinnamon, cumin, turmeric, ginger, pepper, paprika, saffron, aniseed, sesame seed, and coriander. Popular herbs include coriander leaf, parsley, and mint which is used widely in cooking and famously in deliciously sweet Moroccan tea.
At Aloha Surf Camp Maroc, they like to give a flavor of real Morocco alongside the other world cuisine. The resident chef, Abdou, has become something of a celebrity amongst the guests. Not only for consistently producing exquisite dinners night after night, he also happens to be an all-around nice guy and certainly one of the characters of the camp. Now, thanks to our open-plan kitchen, you can watch Abdou in action as he puts together your next delicious meal.
