When is the best time to surf in Tamraght

Best time to go

The best time of the year to go surfing in Tamraght is from late September to April, when the area full of point break gets its most consistent swell. Because of Morocco’s 300 sunshine days a year, it stays warm throughout the year.

This area and big brother Taghazout have been famous for escaping the winter blues, and for its great pointbreaks around Anchor Point. Regardless of the warm land temperatures during summer and winter, you’ll need a wetsuit in the water year-round, as the Atlantic remains cold.
