Learn the basics with the easy to use equipment and highly experienced windsurf instructors. From your first introduction to riding downwind and upwind, tacking, jibing, and up to the riding with harness, they strive to help you achieve your goals. You will spend up to three hours a day on the water. Before each lesson, you will learn how to set up your equipment and be advised of what gears you will need for the conditions.
The unique and up-to-date teaching methods are individually tailored for each student. You will have a chance to focus on maneuvers that you like the most or on elements which still need improvement. Depending on the wind conditions and the level of students, the instructors can pick the best time of a day to make your lesson. Lighter wind in the morning or stronger blows in the afternoon can be picked together.
Marcin is a professional, friendly, and easy going waterman in Algarve Watersport. Marcin has been windsurfing before actually he was able to walk properly. A few years later, he discovered kiteboarding, wakeboarding, and surfing, now getting wild about SUP on waves. His dream is to become Kelly Slater, but he has far too much hair.
Niko is the most all-around talented person in Algarve Watersport. He can teach you windsurfing, kiting, stand-up paddling, or even a mountain tour bike. Later, he will fix your car or your bike and after that, he could probably cook you a nice dinner.
You will have your windsurf lesson at the lagoon on the Odiáxere river, located between Lagos and Alvor. The lagoon offers ideal conditions to learn and practice windsurfing in the Algarve. This warm and strong wind allows you to learn new maneuvers quickly and allows for consistent improvement of your windsurfing skills.
