At the popular “Baraka” bar, you and your friends enjoy a cold beer or various cocktails while using the Wi-Fi and surfing on the internet for a change, watching TV, or winning against your friends at the billiard table.

You will enjoy five days of kiting lessons for three hours per day. Equipment and transfers to kiting locations are included in the price. You will also enjoy five sets of wakeboarding sessions, as well as a free yoga session.

The “Nortada” wind is a thermal wind which builds up during the day and reaches its peak in the afternoon. The lagoon is tide dependent offering the easiest conditions for learning at mid tide. Of course, they aim to teach you during this perfect conditions. The kitesurf lessons normally start between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. depending on the best conditions. You will be effectively three hours in the water but the whole trip takes around five hours, with driving down to the lagoon (10-minute drive), setting up the kites, theory, etc. There is no break in between the course.

The kiteboarding instructors are licensed by IKO (International Kiteboarding Organisation). You can purchase a certification after the course to document you kitesurf level and be able to rent kiteboarding equipment worldwide. They are teaching in IKO standards in groups with a maximum four people per instructor. At the maximum capacity of the groups, two beginners will share a kite.

They are always offering different level kitesurf lessons. The guests will be divided into groups according to kiteboarding level. Please let Algarve Watersport know your level or you last learning objective when you book. Please assess yourself honestly since they only then can promise fast learning results.

The riders rope length can be changed very quickly meaning you can use a short line to learn new air tricks. Unlike full-size cables, you can take advantage of the 180 degree turns and learn new tricks on the corner. There is almost an infinite amount of tricks to learn on a system 2.0. The best thing is that when you crash it picks you straight back up and within a few seconds you can try the trick again.

If you are trying wakeboarding for the first time it is suggested to practice at the cable park. The 2.0 system is more forgiving and less intimidating. On the 2.0 system, the handle will come back to you after you fell (no standing in line or swimming back to the dock) allowing you to be back up on the board in seconds, the water is perfectly flat and the system controller will adjust the speed according to your level and riding position.

This is the best way to learn to wakeboard hands down. The system 2.0 can get any beginner up and riding within a matter of minutes. It is also the safest way to learn to wakeboard with accurate speed control and constant supervision. With the high pull, one-on-one instruction, and perfect speed control by the operator, you cannot fail to get up!

Thanks to the continuous ride of the 2.0, you can hit the same feature every 20 seconds! This has unbeatable learning potential over boats, jet skis, or full cable tows. And if you fall in, it picks you straight back up with no delay. It is quite simply the best tow for hitting features.

Algarve Watersport offers more than water sports! At the camp in Portugal, you can do other activities apart from surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, or stand up paddling. If you are looking for sportive activities even on non-windy or too-wavily days, you can bring your body to a new fitness level with the help of a healing and relaxed yoga or Pilates session. During the mountain bike tours, they will make you sweat as well and show you the fascinating surroundings of the Algarve at the same time.

Your body feels sore after the loads of water sports activities or maybe you just want to unwind after a busy and exciting day at the Algarve. Rita’s magic hands will take care of everything. All you need to do is close your eyes and relax.

There’s a variety of treatments available, from which she will definitely find the best suitable relief for you. From specific segments such as neck, back, and shoulders to a full body massage. They guarantee that you will find your inner calm and will feel refreshed, energized, and like a new person after her treatment.

The Algarve is especially famous for the mild climate and a beautiful landscape and is yet regarded as an insiders' tip among mountain bikers! During the mountain bike trips, you will discover great trails on the cliffs of the wild south coast overlooking the ocean or the rural backcountry of the Algarve. The camp represents the starting point for the trips from Lagos to Luz or Burgau.

For longer distances, you will head to the west coast where you can explore hidden and secret beaches and bays. In the evening, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking sunset. Of course, they also offer mountain bike trips through the highlands of the Monchique Mountains for more daring mountain bikers. From the peak of the Foie, you will have an incredible view over Portimao, the Ria do Alvor (the kite lagoon), and Lagos. On clear days, you can even discover the west coast.

The experienced cyclists and the new Cube LTD Race Mountain bikes equipped with a Fox RLC bike fork and 29er tires will take you on an unforgettable mountain bike trip in the Algarve. The cost of this activity is 35 EUR for two hours.

Yoga and Pilates

Yoga and Pilates are a great choice to harmonize your body, mind, and soul. Many water sports professionals, such as Kelly Slater (surf champion), Kristine Boese (kiteboarding champion), and Larid Hamilton (big wave surf legend), have discovered yoga and Pilates as an optimal balance training.

You will not only improve your strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and breathing volume. The exercises and techniques also help you achieve an increased calmness in stressful situations, as well as a faster recovery and prevention of injuries after an exhausting session on the water.

Algarve Watersport offers you a free yoga session per week which starts every Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m. by the pool. If you wish to upgrade your package to include five yoga classes, there is an additional fee of 60 EUR.
