As a surfer or soon-to-be-surfer, you can enjoy an “easy-going”-atmosphere and connect to like-minded water sports fans from all over the world at Algarve Watersport Surf Camp. The camp house is located in the harbor town Lagos, close to the Meia Praia beach. This makes it the perfect place for those who enjoy surfing during the day and explore the nightlife in town.
You will stay at Kite House Lagos which features a pool, barbeque area, a big garden with trampolines, and outside multi-sport courts. In the Barraka Bar you can have a cold beer or cocktail while having the complimentary Wi-Fi, watching TV, playing table pool, or backgammon. The new Kite House is not a wild party house, but you are still only minutes away from the night action in the center of Lagos with all the pubs, clubs, restaurants, and street life.
The camp house has double rooms and dorm rooms consisting of four bedrooms. Right in front of the pool, the camp also owns bungalows with private entrance, lounge, bathrooms, and separate bedrooms. This is a perfect place for families and guests looking for privacy.

Marcin is a professional, friendly, and easy going waterman in Algarve Watersport. Marcin has been windsurfing before actually he was able to walk properly. A few years later, he discovered kiteboarding, wakeboarding, and surfing, now getting wild about SUP on waves. His dream is to become Kelly Slater, but he has far too much hair.
You will have your windsurf lesson at the lagoon on the Odiáxere river, located between Lagos and Alvor. The lagoon offers ideal conditions to learn and practice windsurfing in the Algarve. The Nortada wind from the north is accelerated by the Serra de Monchique before reaching the water of the lagoon. This warm and strong wind allows you to learn new maneuvers quickly and allows for consistent improvement of your windsurfing skills.

Yoga and Pilates are great ways to keep your body, mind, and soul sharp until the next time you get in the water. Many of professional water women and men like Kelly Slater (nine times surf champion), Kristine Boese, (nine times kiteboarding champion), and Larid Hamilton (a big wave surf legend) have found yoga and Pilates to be one of the key preparation tools for their watersport careers.
By practicing yoga and Pilates, you can improve core strength, flexibility, agility, balance, lung capacity, concentration, and calmness in challenging wave situations. Yoga and Pilates also help to prevent your body from getting hurt and it shortens the recovering time between the sessions.
