During this surf camp, you will stay at Alaia SurfLodge villa. This cozy villa is located in the heart of the world surfing reserve. You can choose to stay in a 3-bed dorm or Mellow Yellow room. With two single beds, Mellow Yellow room is a perfect place for two travelers. With the sun shining by the end of the day, it is great to have a siesta after surfing.
The lessons during this surf camp will be given at several beautiful beaches depending on the surf conditions. Alaia SurfLodge will pick you up at your doorstep. All instructors are qualified and experienced local surfers who can give you the best insider tips as well as professional advices. Joana Andrade, one of the teachers, was nominated for the XXL Big Wave Awards 2015.
During this surf camp, you will go for a night out in picturesque Ericeira.
This surf camp will take place in Palhais - Ericeria, Portugal. Palhais is a little village located in the heart of the world surfing reserve. This place is a 2-minute drive by car from Ericeira and a 10-minute walk to the legendary beach of Ribeira d’Ilhasy which has one of the longest and most consistent waves in Europe. Palhais is only a walking distance to more than 10 different waves Ericeira has to offer.
Ericeira is a charming traditional fisherman’s village. This place is known for its warm, welcoming people, and world-class waves. You can enjoy the quietness of an empty beach as well as a fun night out. There are many fish restaurants and tiny cobblestone streets between the characteristic white and blue fishermen’s houses. From Ericeira, you can discover Lisbon as the oldest city in the world and the historical village of Sintra which is considered Unesco World Heritage since 1995.
During this surf camp, Alaia SurfLodge provides a self-catering kitchen. Therefore, you can cook your own meals to refresh your day.

From Lisbon Portela Airport (LIS), you can take the metro or a taxi to the Campo Grande bus terminal. There, you can catch the bus operated by Mafrense to Ericeira. Alaia SurfLodge can pick you up at the bus stop at an additional cost.
