Immediately when I arrived I was greeted by Gabriel. He invited me out that day for a sunset surf session at Banana Beach and he gave me the low down on where to paddle out/in to avoid rocks --- It was awesome to surf with Gabriel, Cruz, Nicolas, Goya who are considered locals!!! I never felt left out but I was welcomed in very quickly and the whole trip!!! I love the outside area which contained tables/bench seating, hammocks, chairs, Yoga Floor to stretch and do yoga!!!!
The yoga lessons were amazing which was led by Cami who broke it down for me in an elementary way since I am a beginner. After each class, I learned a lot about how tense I really am (even though I felt loose and relaxed). Cami really helped me to focus on breathing exercises which really helped me in my surfing!!! After each class I felt more flexible, like a huge weight had been lifted from me, and it was a great way to start my day!!! CAMI THE INSTRUCTOR ROCKS!!!
My surf coach was Pablo and it helped to have him in the line up with me because he gave me the right of way to every wave he had me go for -- Local Status that he had allowed that!!! He got me familiar where I had to sit to catch the waves that are thick and you really had to let the wave stand up which he helped in that!!! Each lesson started with him picking me up on his mo-ped and ride to the break. Stretch and a quick briefing of the break and how it breaks. He did a great job! I received best massage ever from Belen Roca!!!
