Located on wild Banana Beach right on the Atlantic coast with Bougainvillea flowers offering colorful shade for the front terrace and dining area, plenty of space for sunbathing and lazing by the ocean front swimming pool looking over Banana Point, this is the perfect place to escape to. There is a choice of beautiful twin and triple rooms available for you to rest and relax after a day of yoga, surfing, and soaking up the sun.
The Bougainvillea room is named after the flowers that grow abundantly in the garden below. It is a peaceful room and shares a bathroom with the Indian room.
This Butterfly themed room is quiet and calm. It is well proportioned and has its own bathroom.
The Emerald room is in the middle of the villa with views over the pool and the Atlantic Ocean. The en-suite Emerald room has a wholesome feel to help you recharge on your holiday.
The stunning Garden room is the ideal place for a calm, inspiring, and restorative holiday at Mandala. It's big open windows make it light and airy. The organically decorated bathroom has an open, walk-in shower with pebble flooring from the beach, and with the bougainvillea blossoming up to the window from the garden below, it's one of the favorite rooms.
A Mandala style Indian is a themed room with hanging lights and decorated with trinkets. The bathroom is shared with the Bougainvillea room.
The Light room is cool, characterful, and stylish with its white finish and dashes of color. The big windows give epic ocean views and you can watch the perfect sunset from your pillow.
This master en-suite bedroom is the largest of Mandala's rooms yet the red interiors create an authentically Moroccan and homely feel. It looks out onto Banana Beach, Banana point, and the lefts of Onze and Douze.
Rich in color, the Scarlet room has a sumptuous sea view. One wall is made entirely of glass, the wild Atlantic Ocean goes as far as the eye can see and with an en-suite bathroom, the Scarlet room is a unique treat.
The Turtle room is on the ground floor of Villa Mandala. It is spacious, well appointed, and has its own bathroom.
Mandala's spacious, Berber, and colonial style living area looks out onto the pool and Banana Beach. It's the ideal place to read and relax after a long day in the sun and surf or spend perfect evenings accompanied by exquisite food and great company.
The small attractive pool on Mandala's front terrace is perfect for a refreshing dip between sunbathing or after a day at the beach.
The yoga shala, high on the rooftop of the villa, is surrounded by fantastic views of beach, ocean, and mountain. The shala's wooden finish throughout and surrounding glass doors allow it to be enjoyed both as an impressive indoor studio or an open airy space for an unforgettable yoga practice.
Located in Taghazout, this area has become a surf mecca. Join AdventureYogi at Banana Point, on the Atlantic coast. To the south of Taghazout is La Source, named for the fresh water that bubbles up from the rocks. Anchor Point has great barrel waves and there are cafes and shops lining the main street.
This holiday is full board so you can enjoy a filling and healthy breakfast after yoga to set you up for the day. You will also be provided lunch and a gourmet vegetarian nutritious evening meal with a Moroccan flair. Wake to the aroma of freshly brewed Moroccan coffee and hot fresh bread from the village bakery. Enjoy local honey, jams, yogurts, eggs, crepes, and a rainbow platter of seasonal fruits. Sit back, relax, and take time over a sun-filled breakfast banquet beside the glistening waters of the oceanfront swimming pool. The perfect way to ease into each day!
Lunch is a delicious picnic on the beach between surfs. Freshly filled baguettes, tasty pasta, chicken, meat and cheese salads, sweet energy boosting treats, and fresh fruit helping you make the most of your time in the surf.
The local chefs provide fantastic and varied feasts every night, which are the perfect end to a day in the surf. After a tasty selection of tapas and starters, meals range from Moroccan tagines, kebabs, couscous, and salads, to barbecues, vegetarian options, fresh fish, and a delicious variety of international and Moroccan dishes to suit every palate.
It’s the closest café and restaurant to Villa Mandala and it’s the best, not least because they are one of the few places to serve beer and wine. The fish is good, the setting is great, and the vibe is relaxed. Take a sun lounger before or after eating and take it easy. It’s a short walk across the beach to Banana Point. It closes around 4:00 p.m.
If you want to visit beaches which are not in walking distance, then please ask AdventureYogi to organize transport for you. There are lots of beaches to visit and they can get a taxi for one person or a vehicle and driver for the day if there are a few of you.
A trip to this area would not be complete without a visit to the Agadir Souq (main market). Open every day except Monday, this place is perfect for gift shopping. Agadir beach is a huge sandy bay, great for swimming, walking, sunbathing, and lots of touristy activities, restaurants, cafés, etc.
This beautiful town is great for shopping with lots to choose from and a more chilled vibe than Marrakech. The fresh fish at the port is a great idea for lunch, the beach is beautiful, and is excellent for windsurfing and kitesurfing.
Taroundant is a classic Moroccan walled town in Medina with two souks within its walls with lots of rugs, jewelry, and artisanal products.
They are on almost every beach but if you like, AdventureYogi can get them to pick you up from the front door! Just ask your hosts.
If you’re a fairly experienced and confident rider, you can go for a gallop along the beach, if not they run more sedate and peaceful rides and hacks through the hills and on the beach. The horses are well looked after and they have horses to suit all abilities, the guides are great too.
A popular beach activity amongst the locals, jet ski hire is available at several nearby beaches, please ask your hosts for booking and info.
Based at Croco Beach, this is great fun and can be a good way to explore off the beaten track, cruising up the beautiful hills or along the long sandy beaches.
You can relax by the pool at the villa and soak up the Moroccan sun.
If you would like to surf for the week, there is a supplement charge of 100 GBP for the extra three days. This includes transport to and from the beach, all hire equipment, a two-hour surf lesson, and use of the surf equipment for the rest of the day.
Massage treatments are available on-site at an extra cost.
Tucked away on the rooftop, this is the perfect place to indulge in a massage that will make you feel amazing.
