Accommodation
You will be staying in a large three-level Portuguese style villa on the sunny Portuguese coast. The accommodation will be dorm style bunk beds in private six to eight persons' bedrooms or upgrade to one of their deluxe private rooms. All rooms consist of private bathrooms and built-in wardrobes. The onsite staffs make sure you’ll spend an incredible holiday. An indoor cinema, table tennis, balance boards, bikes, and much more will keep you entertained. Relax in the backyard on the daybed for an afternoon bake in the sun while sipping a few beers or a glass of wine or port from the local vineyards.
Program
You will receive five days of surfing in this surf camp. Three days of intensive surf instructions, one night of surf theory, and two days of surf guiding.
The maximum group size will be eight people for one to two instructors. 9Ninelives only works with qualified, professional, and fully licensed surf instructors that also have a lifeguard qualification. The surf equipment (boards, leashes, and wet-suits) are free to use within the lesson days. You will also get an in-house photographer and video recording to capture those epic moments of you surfing to share with all your friends and family.
Location
Whether you are a beginner or pro, this is the perfect, most constant spot for people wanting to surf in Europe, since it has everything to make your trip a success; good waves, a relaxed atmosphere, great people, and lots of things to see and do. There is something for everyone and all within a 20 kilometers radius.
The Algarve region is uniquely located on the most south-west tip of Portugal, allowing it to receive swell from a west or southerly direction, this ensures you will always be guaranteed a good days surf.

Arrival by bus
Sete Rios is the main bus station of Lisbon and is located on the blue metro line and connected by the Jardim Zoológico metro station. Renex coaches leave from the Gare do Oriente bus station which is part of the Expo Park development, to the east of Lisbon. This area is connected to the red metro line by the Expo metro station.
Gare do Oriente is the more modern, cleaner and safer bus station. The bus station in Lagos is about one and a half kilometers to the north of the city on the Largo Rossio de Sao Joao road and the ticket office is open every day from 7:30 to 20:30. Tickets for the Renex coach service are purchased from the market close to the bus station.
Arrival by train
First, take the bus from Faro Airport to the train station followed by the train to Lagos which costs 10 EUR each way. From Lagos train station, 9Ninelives can pick you up or you can walk to the surf house which is about a 15 minutes walk.
Cancellation Policy
- A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
- The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
- The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
