Ale Boi Gurukkal

Ale Boi Gurukkal graduated as a physic education teacher, master of Integral Hatha yoga, Kalarypayat (Indian martial art), therapist masseur in Ayurveda since 2000, traditional Thai massage, Thai yoga, Hawaiian lomilomi, and deep tissue sports massage. He has more than 16 years of experience working at differents spas around the world with various personalized cares. His continuous learning focused him on a natural and global way of healing even more holistic (360-degree wellness) and trying to work without any mental or body toxins.

"Ok, but not as good as expected"

I liked meeting the people on the retreat. Thank goodness they were there, without them I would not have enjoyed the experience as much. The yoga was OK, but I have enjoyed better practice here in London. I have never surfed nor paddle boarded and I enjoyed them both, although the organisation was haphazard. Fatima's food was excellent...just more of it would have been welcome.

"A perfect getaway in a beautiful island!"

I was staying at the Casas de Piedra resort and location was amazing, in the middle of a banana plantation, very green and serene. Morning yoga classes were in the gardens area, which was absolutely beautiful! Fatima and Ali were very attentive and flexible, adjusting very easily based on my requests. Meals that Fatima prepared were not only delicious, but very healthy and beautifully presented. Yoga classes were very solid and well instructed. Surfing and other activities were well organized and helped explore the island. Massages were a perfect addition to the busy itinerary and really helped relax after a long day!

Fatima and Ali also provided lots of tips about the island, I ended up extending my stay and renting a car to explore beautiful Tenerife on my own.

Overall, it was a great combination of healthy food, paradise-like location, wholesome yoga, ocean activities and hiking. Thanks Fatima and Ali, I feel rejuvenated and relaxed! Wish I was able to stay even longer!

"Amazing experience "

I had the program during my Easter holiday for 5 days. The weather was perfect, everyday I had sunshine and the temperature was up to 30 degrees minimum 20 degrees. The vila I stayed 'Finca Punta del Lomo' was excellent, feel like home, so quiet surrounded by green and it's placed just next to banana plantation which was very impressive.

The program is organized by Ale who dose instruct yoga, surfing, all the activity include massage and so on and Fatima who cooks all the delicious meal for us. They are so sweet so I've never got bored by being with them. I loved all the meals from Fatima, all ingredients are from local farm and even she used herbs which we took on a mountain by the hiking excretion. And also so nice to have the homemade fresh smoothie and organic tropical fruits every morning after the yoga session.

And of course all the activities were more than I expected. Ale is very flexible guy, gave me an another option when there were no waves for surfing and remade new schedule.

I am absolutely satisfied with all of it and would love to come back!

"Le parfait équilibre "

This week at the five éléments retreat has been a perfect balance between à classic yoga/massage retreat and a cool holyday hosted at the confortable "casas de piedra" Villas, a perfect hydeaway located in a banana farm with a wonderfull garden location, far from the ugly tourist zone. Ale and Fatima are the most delightfull people, they are flexible, créative, patient and welcoming in order to make your stay as perfect as possible. The whole concept is a perfect balance between a peaceful and healthy retreat and a nice vacation where you discover the hidden treasures of a wonderfull Island. Fatima's food, based on local fruits and végétables is delicious and créative. Ale is a very skilled and patient yoga teacher who adapts perfectly his class to your level, day by day. I also very much appreciate the quality of both the ayurveda and the "yoga Thaï" massage, both techniques in with you notice his high level of qualification. I enjoyed the contrast between the calm enclosement of the quinta de lomo and the variety of the landscapes and places to discover during the afternoon excursions, under the bright and stunning light of the Tenerife skies... My week has been a gradual progression, feeling everyday a little bit more relaxed and rooted, changing my "monkey mind" in to a warm and conscious embodie ment. This retreat was the best birthday present i ever made to myself. i want to say "gracias" to Fatima and Ale and longlife to their new vision of tourism and wellbeeing !
